How will they remember me?

After the death of music icon, Michael Jackson it got me to thinking... how will I be remembered? Will the memories be of the paths I've walked, the people I've met, the art I created, the ditches I climbed out of or how I touched someone's life?

I grew up in the Baptist church and every first Sunday we had Communion. This is a religious ritual where worshippers of Yeshua (Jesus) take time to RE-MEMBER him through eating bread and wine in unison. The collective effort keeps Christ alive in the hearts of the believer. Now as a child I could not wait for the bread and grape juice. The dry square peices of crackers did not impress me, but the grape juice was the highlight of the service. My Mother would watch us closely to make sure that we didn't take two helpings. The consequences of that would be a sharp thump on the head before anyone realized what was going on.

So I ask myself again... how will you be remembered? I would like for those who know me to remember that I am a fearless faithwalker. I believe in jumping off of cliffs knowing that my wings will activate and take me to higher realms. I love God and it was amazing to realize after searching outside of myself that God was always there inside of me. I was just going in the wrong direction. My family means the world to me and that includes the strangers I've met along the way. I AM a co-creator of my life and I constantly reimagine and recreate at a moment's notice. I love with detachment, because I know that I do not own a thing.

I AM .... a reflection of the Creator inside of me.
